Sports Backers made the transition to RunSignup’s event management platform in 2018 to provide seamless registration to participants across its outdoor fitness events, better engage the Richmond community, and manage event day operations. RunSignup collaborated with Sports Backers to adapt the RunSignup platform to accommodate Sports Backers’ unique events, providing simple solutions for complex needs such as bulk registration and corral management.
In the increasingly competitive market of endurance events, effective marketing is critical to converting runners into registrants. The RunSignup team migrated five years of Sports Backers data and results from another vendor to the RunSignup platform. This historical data will improve Sports Backers’ use of RunSignup’s free promotional tools, including integrated email marketing, social media integration, and RaceInsights built-in analytics.
