There are many timers in the United States that use RACE RESULT for scoring and RunSignup for Registration. RunSignup has provided bi-directional sync of registration data to RACE RESULT since 2024 and we are happy to announce that our integration with RACE RESULT has extended to publishing of results to the RunSignup platform. While we certainly appreciate it when timers use our own RaceDay Scoring software, we have always believed in an Open Platform. We want to ensure that timers who prefer to score with RACE RESULT can still easily utilize RunSignup’s free, industry-leading Results platform—without ever feeling locked into our scoring ecosystem.
To support timers using both systems, we have developed a streamlined interface specifically designed to push live results from RACE RESULT directly to RunSignup. This eliminates the tedious process of manual file exports and automatically delivers the real-time data your participants expect.
The Power of the RunSignup Results Platform
Publishing your RACE RESULT data to RunSignup is about much more than hosting a spreadsheet online. When results flow directly into our platform, it automatically powers a suite of participant-facing features. Timers do not have to replace their current workflows using RACE RESULT live results with RunSignup Results, but the additional use of the RunSignup platform opens up their services for the following:

RACE RESULT to RunSignup Results Integration
The integration takes the complex scoring data you build in RACE RESULT and translates it cleanly into RunSignup RaceDay Result Sets. We have built an interface that puts you in complete control over how your data is displayed.
1. Flexible Data Mapping The core of the sync relies on mapping your RACE RESULT outputs to the corresponding fields in RunSignup. You can precisely control what data is sent over:
- Times: Map Clock Time, Chip Time, and Pace.
- Placements & Rankings: Translate your RACE RESULT rankings directly into RunSignup Divisions (Overall, Gender, Age Group, etc.).
- Splits: Push live split times as athletes cross intermediate timing mats.
- Custom Fields: Any unique data points in your RACE RESULT output can automatically be created as custom columns on your RunSignup results page.
2. Continuous Auto-Sync Once your setup is complete, the data push is fully automated. As athletes are scored in RACE RESULT, their times and placements are continuously published and updated on the live RunSignup results page. No more pausing your workflow to export and upload a CSV every 15 minutes.
3. Graceful Corrections Race day is unpredictable. If you need to make a correction in RACE RESULT—whether it is adjusting a start time or fixing a missed read—the results sync handles it smoothly. The updated data will simply override the previous entry in RunSignup on the next sync pass. This ensures the public results remain accurate without requiring manual intervention on both platforms.
