We welcomed two new people to our Account Management team in Richmond, VA this week – Emily Warejko and Sean Callahan! As Account Managers, they will work closely with many of our customers, providing race reviews and guidance to ensure that races are successful and race directors are able to take advantage of the many tools that RunSignup has to offer.
Emily hails from the Arctic Tundra aka Upstate New York. She comes from a family of runners (her Aunt is still a top-ranked runner in her age group!), racing track in her high school years, playing soccer, and dancing (ballet + modern) in college. A Fashion Textile Technology and Apparel Design graduate from Buffalo State College, Emily spent 16 years in the retail and design industry. She’s a magazine hoarder, Italian cookie monster, risk taker + adventure seeker, and has a curiosity for Native American culture. Emily is looking forward to joining the team and helping the running community – especially, helping race directors for charity events better support their causes.
Sean was born and raised in the opposite climate – Orlando, Fl. He grew up playing soccer from age 3, and has focused on running as a part of his active lifestyle since his competitive soccer career ended. He’s completed a half marathon and often runs with his fiancee Liesel – who just completed her first 10K. Sean graduated from Florida State University with a BA in English and a minor in Economics and continues to love learning new things, using books, podcasts, and Great Courses audio learning to study everything from dietary science to European History to string theory. In his remaining free time, he enjoys video games and helping Liesel with their party supplies and gift business The Singing Little Bird. Sean is excited to be joining a cutting-edge software development company that supports an active lifestyle as well as charity, fundraising, and community building.
