We’re excited to welcome Joel to the RunSignup team! Joel is an experienced developer and is joining the RunSignup development team to build new features that help nonprofits raise more.
Joel has spent a majority of his career in the financial industry where he developed custom tools to enable financial teams to better manage and analyze transactions. Prior to that Joel spent time managing product development for a security technology company.
Joel has always had an interest in helping nonprofits and has sought creative ways to find fundraising solutions including game-based crowdfunding. He is excited to be able to help build tools that will ultimately help nonprofits raise more money and solve some of the problems they face.
Joel is originally from Western New York and has logged many miles in his life running competitively through high school and college. Outside of running Joel loves to grill and is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills. Joel lives in Danville, PA with his wife, Sara and their two boys Seth and Josh.
