RunSignup is introducing affiliate tracking in Website V2, making it easier for affiliate partners like RunningintheUSA.com, FindaRace.com, HalfMarathons.net, and Ahotu.com to track registrations driven from their sites.
This capability isn’t new to RunSignup—we’ve supported affiliate tracking for more than 14 years. Our goal has always been to help participants discover events through race listing websites while providing those partners a simple way to earn revenue for the traffic they generate.
Affiliate partners use the RunSignup Open API to automatically pull race data and keep their listings up to date. When participants click through from those sites and register, we share a portion of the processing fee revenue with the partner. This creates a simple ecosystem that rewards sites for helping participants find races.
Collectively, these affiliate sites drive about 3% of all registrations on the RunSignup platform.
The best part for race organizers: there’s nothing you need to do. Affiliate websites handle everything automatically through our Open API.
With Website V2, we’re making affiliate tracking even easier and more transparent for our partners, while continuing to expand the ways participants discover races.
