As we shared last week in our introduction to the RunSignup AI Chatbot, we are excited to welcome Daniel Beasley to our team!
Daniel brings significant experience with the fast-moving world of AI, specifically as it relates to event customer service, and he will be leading the effort to make the RunSignup AI Chatbot available for free to all races, ticket events, and membership organizations using Websites V2.
Daniel is originally from Charleston, West Virginia but living in Mooresville, North Carolina.
Prior to joining RunSignup, Daniel founded Queu.ai, leading AI-powered solutions for customer service and event management. This includes EventSavvy.ai for automated event planning and Queu.ai for for intelligent customer support automation. All together, Daniel brings significant experience building tools that help businesses scale their operations efficiently while maintaining personal connections with their customers.
In addition to his entrepreneurial experience with AI, Daniel has worked as the Head of Support at Mailscale and served as the Director of Customer Experience at ConvertKit (now Kit.com). He also co-founded Awesome Website Guys, a successful web development agency, and owned Jumpin Java Espresso Company.
At RunSignup, he will be a Product Manager responsible for launching and guiding future development of the RunSignup AI Chatbot for event websites. This will include organizing and onboarding early access users and promoting AI use in the company and with customers.
“I’m looking forward to bringing my passion for the event space and AI into RunSignup knowing the huge value it can and will bring to the 30K+ events on the platform,” said Daniel about joining the RunSignup team. “Being able to scale this new and useful feature will be an exciting adventure and I cannot wait to see the benefits it will bring.”
Outside of work, Daniel is a CrossFit enthusiast who loves hiking adventures, and snowboarding. He is also an avid reader who loves building AI and spending quality time with his family.
Proof of his love of sport: for one of his first dates with his wife, Daniel set up a treading water competition for the pair. He won the trophy (apparently with some controversy), but they both used the 3.5 hours to get to know each other while treading water non-stop.
Welcome, Daniel!
