RunSignup University Intro Classes: Catch Up (Fast)

Intro classes are for new(ish) race directors and race directors who are simply new to RunSignup, but they’re also for long-term users. Why? The RunSignup platform is comprehensive, and expanding all the time (with 2,000+ releases each year). Plenty of race directors are experts in one part of the platform, but have never touched another. And, with AI, all sorts of new options are available that you may not have tried.

What Intro Classes are Available?

• RunSignup 101: Just starting to understand the platform? RunSignup 101 will make sure you can get your race set up and introduce the next steps for your event.
• Participant Management: Learn how to save time with self-serve options for participant management. Need to take bulk actions? That’s a breeze, too.
• RunSignup Dashboard Reporting: Learn how to navigate your RunSignup Dashboard and make sense of the reporting capabilities at your fingertips.
• Intro to Email: RunSignup puts email marketing at your fingertips. Get a deep dive into list management, email building, and best practices for using the integrated Email V2.
• RaceDay Tools: RunSignup offers a suite of RaceDay tools to level up your race day experience. Learn about the options available to you, and how to work with your timer to implement more technology.
• AI Definitions: Dragging your feet on AI? Join us for a beginner session to get comfortable with the basics and excited to dive in.

How Do Intro Classes Work?

At RunSignup University, the intro classes get you caught up on technology that you’ve ignored (or missed), fast. These classes start at the beginning and build your confidence so you can go home and put your knowledge into action. Still have questions after class? That’s what Study Hall is for – taking what you’ve learned, and following up with next steps.

There’s no specific sign-up for intro classes. Simply pick the classes that make the most sense for you. You can see a preliminary list of all classes below.

Why RunSignup University is Intended for In-Person Attendance

One of our most common questions is “will you offer University Virtually”? The answer is no. It’s not because we want to gatekeep content – we will convert applicable content into webinars throughout the year – it’s because the hands-on nature of University does not translate across a screen. In-person, RunSignup University Intro Classes give you the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the presenter.
