Built on a multi-year architecture rebuild in Rust, V6 operates as a self-driving data engine that handles heavy background processing in sub-50 milliseconds—keeping your interface lightning-fast and instantly responsive even at your largest events.

A Deliberate, Step-by-Step Architecture Evolution 

Rather than patching legacy code, our engineering team transitioned RaceDay Scoring to Rust—a modern language built specifically for high-speed processing and memory safety. To protect timer operations on race day, we executed this transition in deliberate, incremental phases:

• 2023: Read processing migrated to Rust.
• 2024–2025 (V5): Completed a full rewrite of the scoring engine, released in March 2025.
• 2026 (RaceDay Scoring V6): Migrated output report rendering and real-time incremental data pushing into the multi-threaded Rust architecture.

To ensure rock-solid stability, V6 was validated using real-time data replays from major spring 2026 events featuring over 30,000 participants.

• Sub-50ms Background Processing: Even while absorbing thousands of chip reads, split points, and outbound result pushes, background tasks completed in as little as 50 milliseconds.
• Zero Interface Lag: Timers can open custom reports, edit participant details, and adjust timing logic mid-race without ever waiting on the software to catch up.
