Share Event Showcases Across Any Event Website

Race directors and organizations that put on multiple races can now build an event showcase once and feature it on every race website they manage. Event List configurations now share automatically across all races, events, and websites on the same payment account.

This is a big time saver for timing companies, running clubs, race series, and organizations with a full calendar of events. Create one Event List that features your upcoming races, then add it to any of your other race websites in a few clicks. You can learn more about the Event Showcase here.

Build Once, Feature Everywhere

When you create an Event List configuration, it is shared with your other events by default. The list then appears under Shared Event Lists on the dashboards of your other races that use the same payment account. From there, add it to the event website with the Event List component in the Website Builder – no need to reconfigure per dashboard.

Every race that uses a shared list stays in sync. Update the list in one place, and the changes show up on every website that features it. Add a new event to your series, and it appears across all of your race websites at once.

The race that creates an Event List owns it. Only the owning race can edit the configuration. Other races see a read-only view that shows which events, partners, and timers are included, along with a link back to the race it was shared from. This keeps your showcase consistent across websites while making it clear where to go to make updates. The Event List overview also shows where each list is Used On, so you can see every website that features it.

Control What Gets Shared

Some lists are only meant for one website. Uncheck Share this list with your other events to keep a configuration on its original race, and not make it available to any other event using the payment account. Lists that are currently in use on another race website stay shared until they are removed from those websites, so no race website loses its event showcase unexpectedly.

Cross-Promote Your Races

Shared Event Lists make it easy to keep every race website promoting your full calendar:

  • Race series: Feature every race in the series on each race website.
  • Running clubs: Showcase club races and events across all club event websites.
  • Timing companies and multi-event organizations: Keep one up-to-date list of upcoming events on every website you manage.
  • Organizations with other events: Promote ticket events alongside your race!

Next we will add copy options to the FAQ component, making it easy to bring common questions and answers that you set up in one race to another. Race websites continue to expand design and data-driven capabilities, with these new sharing options cutting setup time across multiple events.
