In our continuing efforts to keep the endurance community up to date on trends, we mine our customer data for races on our platform in both years, and found races that occurred in May were up 5% from 2023. There were 446,121 participants in 2024 vs 424,477 in 2023 across the 364 races over 500 participants. We do not measure races below 500 because of the overhead in trying to get that data on a race-race basis. For the year, races are up 7%.
Continued good news for the endurance community on top of seeing 2023 races down only 1% from 2019 – so there is real growth again for races.
