Sometimes new users get created even though there is already a user in RunSignUp with a profile. For example, someone might have imported my registration in a race rather than me signing into RunSignUp and signing myself up for a race. This is actually a very common occurrence for Running Clubs who move to RunSignUp and import all of their members.
We now have an easy way to for a user to Claim those accounts. Just log into RunSignUp and go to your Profile page, and there will be a notice at the top of the page:
You will see a list (if there are multiple) users with the same email address. The list includes birthdate and Gender:
Simply click the “Claim Account” and it will be merged in. In the case of the Club Membership, this will now be assigned to you.
