We have released a new capability to include RunSignUp’s RaceDay Results in the RaceJoy App automatically. This means any race where the timer is uploading results (either automatically from The Race Director or RunScore or Agee Timing or manually uploading CSV result files), the results will appear within seconds in runner and spectators RaceJoy apps.
The availability of results information – whether Gun, Chip or GPS – is a growing desire of races. RaceJoy has made this available to a few races before it was automated for a high fee because of complexities in tying directly to timing data. When all modes were available in the app, like the Vermont City Marathon, Maine Cost Marathon, Ogden Marathon and Flying Pig Marathon had between 80-150% usage by participants and spectators. For example the Flying Pig Marathon and Half had 15,000 participants and 12,000 RaceJoy users.
This new feature is free to use on RunSignUp and on RaceJoy. You must have your race listed on RaceJoy (that means setting up by uploading a map and marking mile points), but you simply need to set the option to turn on results on your RunSignUp Race Dashboard:

Remember to ask your timer if they are uploading results to RunSignUp RaceDay Results, and that is all you need to do.
In the near future we will also be adding GPS results to RaceDay Results – so stay tuned!
