We are at our second location of our four-city RaceDay Certification Timer Tour. Last week in Philadelphia went very well and we made some minor tweaks to the certification process based on our experience there.
Timers are using the new and easy-to-use RaceDay CheckIn app to check in for the certification training. We emailed out QR codes for faster check-in where attendees can quickly scan their email. This is something timers and race organizers can take advantage of to help the check-in process. Of course, there is the “old fashioned” search by name approach, which still beats previous check-in approaches.
We originally expected about 25 people to attend the Dallas location, but ended up with 60 timers attending the certification. We increased the room setup to accommodate the increased interest and ensure timers were able to fully participate in the training.
We are having valuable interaction with timers and it is great to see their energy for taking advantage of the full capabilities that RunSignup has to offer for Race Day. Thanks everyone!
