We added the ability to set default fundraising goals for fundraiser teams and individual fundraisers. Default fundraising goals automatically populate a team or individual’s fundraising page(s) with a fundraising goal that you determine. Fundraisers can edit the default goal to greater than or less than the suggested amount. This lets your race set expectations for how much fundraisers should raise, but still allows your fundraisers the flexibility to adjust their goals.
You can add a default fundraising goal by going to Donation >> Setup >> Basic Setup. Next to the individual and team fundraiser messaging, you can enter an amount for the default fundraising goal.

When participants sign up and create a fundraising page, it will automatically show the default goal:
