Coming into 2023, we decided to do something we spent the last few years telling customers to do: try something new. While we loved hosting RunSignup Symposiums over the years, this time we wanted to head out on the road*. From January through March, we visited 11 cities across the US, from Florida to Washington. The 25+ RunSignup employees who traveled to at least one Roadshow got to meet with both customers and non-customer races and timers, sharing best practices and learning about the current challenges facing races in 2023.
*For the sake of transparency, sometimes we flew.
The Roadshow Continues!
The 11-stop Winter Roadshow Series wrapped up on 3/14 at the RunSignup HQ in Moorestown, NJ. There are a few highlights below, but before we get to that, the most important part: the Roadshow was such a success that we are going to continue it throughout the remainder of 2023!
Our next two stops (Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC) are open for registration now, but don’t worry if they aren’t near you — we’ll be adding stops on the West Coast, South, Midwest, and more.
As Roadshow stops are added, you’ll be able to find them in the upcoming event (as well as in your inbox via monthly newsletters & local invites): https://info.runsignup.com/webinar_categories/upcoming-events/
Winter Roadshow Recap:
RunSignup Roadshows allow our team to meet more customers and more industry professionals than ever, and expands the pool of who can attend an event with us. No matter how much we subsidized the cost of a Symposium, the cost of travel and hotels, along with time away from work, will always be a limiting factor for small to midsize race organizations (not to mention volunteer-run events). Combined with the lingering financial impacts of COVID, 2023 felt like the perfect time to try events that were more accessible for the endurance community.
