Timer Dashboard – New Intuitive View and Real-Time Readiness

More Real-Time Insights on the Horizon

RunSignup’s RaceDay development team is continuously working to enhance RunSignup’s Timer Dashboard to provide more value to timers. Now available is a new table layout with improved organization, featuring easy-to-navigate tabs for Ongoing, Upcoming, and Past races. This update makes it more intuitive to find the information timers need, whether prepping for an upcoming race or managing results live on race day.

This initial release also streamlines timers’ workflow. We’ve already heard positive feedback on subtle changes, like the updated Finisher count that is now more prominent and dynamic.

Your Streamlined Race Management Hub: What’s New & What’s Next

The Timer Dashboard is evolving into timers’ central race day hub, streamlining critical workflows and empowering timers to deliver a smooth, professional, and data-driven race experience for every event. Here are the recent updates and upcoming advancements:

Enhanced Race Organization & At-a-Glance Readiness

  • Tabbed Navigation: Quickly switch between lists of Ongoing, Upcoming, and Past races.
  • Intelligent Race Categorization: Races are now automatically sorted into the correct list based on their individual event start and end times.
    • Ongoing Races: A race appears here if at least one of its events has a start date/time in the past and an end date/time in the future. This dynamic logic ensures multi-day events, relays, or races with multiple sessions are accurately shown as ongoing.
  • Simple Stats at a Glance: Race name, location, and registration counts appear on the main list. In addition, the Finisher count is now more actively updating based on live scoring data.
  • Virtual Event Filtering: By default, long-duration virtual races are hidden to keep the workflow focused on physical events (but timers can include them if needed by unchecking a box).
