We are excited to welcome Tyler to our Support team! To introduce the the RunSignup community to Tyler, we spent some time learning more about his personal and professional life. Read on to get to know Tyler!
Where are you from, and where do you currently reside?
I am from Coopersburg, PA and I currently live in Bethlehem, PA.
What will be your job title at RunSignup, and what will be your responsibilities (be as specific as possible)?
I will be a Customer Support Representative. I will be helping timers and race directors with their events, with an emphasis on the Event Day Suite of products including RaceDay Scoring and RaceJoy.
Please share additional details about your past work experience, your education and/or training, and any notable professional skills.
For the past 12, years, I managed a local running store (The Emmaus Run Inn). Additionally, I worked as a timer and race director for the past 5 years at Bryn Mawr Racing. Prior to that, I attended York College of Pennsylvania, Majoring in Entrepreneurship.
What are you most looking forward to in joining the RunSignup team?
I am especially looking forward to assisting timers with their needs on race day and helping develop new products to keep timers successful!
Tell us about your hobbies and interests, and what you like to do for fun outside of work.
I like to run and cycle a few days a week. I also have an 8 month old and a 8 year old Australian Shepherd that keep me pretty busy.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I enjoy building bicycles. I have a collection of frames, wheels and other smaller parts.
