The RunSignup AI Chatbot (BETA) just got smarter. With the new Dynamic Results feature, participants can now get real-time race results directly through the chatbot.
Instead of searching multiple the results page, runners can simply ask the chatbot questions like:
- “What’s my result for the Gobble Gallop 5K?”
- “How did my time compare to John Adams?”
The chatbot will instantly pull live results from RunSignup’s database and respond with accurate, personalized information — right inside the chat window.
It also pulls results from past years that are loaded on RunSignup Results.
How It Works
The Dynamic Results feature connects the AI Chatbot to RunSignup’s live results data. When a participant asks a question about results, the chatbot automatically retrieves and formats the correct information for that event.
It can:
- Display individual results such as finish time, pace, and placement.
- Show history of a runner across years and compare performances.
- Compare results between two participants, showing who finished faster and by how much.
The experience is conversational and instant, giving participants the information they want without leaving the page.
Why It Matters
This feature brings another layer of convenience for both race directors and participants.
- For participants: No more hunting for links or refreshing result pages. The chatbot provides answers instantly, in natural language.
- For race directors: Fewer repetitive support requests about results, and standings — freeing up staff time after race day.
Together with the chatbot’s existing ability to answer FAQ-based questions, Dynamic Results turns it into an all-in-one race support assistant.
Getting Started
If you already have the RunSignup AI Chatbot (BETA) enabled on your Website V2 site, you don’t need to take any additional steps. The Dynamic Results feature will appear automatically for races that have live results data on RunSignup.
For new users:
- Confirm your race is using Website Builder V2.
- Add an FAQ Component with at least three questions and answers.
- Enable the AI Chatbot (BETA) from your Race Dashboard under AI Chatbot (BETA) → Chatbot Setup.
