Over the next couple of months we will be migrating all remaining Clubs on our old Club product to our new Membership product. The new Membership product was released a year ago, and we will be winding down support for the old product.
We have had great success with our simple migration – click the “Upgrade” button and do the few manual content migration steps. Most customers have already done the migration since there are many advantages to the new product.
We will be helping remaining customers migrate and help migrate their setups.
There is one feature that is not yet released on the new Membership system – donations during signup. There are two ways this can be accomplished. First, we have added an automated redirect after membership signup to make a donation. The second is that some clubs have simply added a store item called Donate, and set variants of different dollar amounts that people can choose. Customers who have done this do not see any material change in their donations. And we will add this capability in the summer.
We thank our customers for understanding that supporting two systems is costly and given the many advantages of the new Membership product, we appreciate your support. This helps us all keep our costs contained so we can continue to provide great products that continue to improve while keeping prices low.
