What is The RunSignup Community Grant Program?
The RunSignup Community Grant supports nonprofit organizations that promote the endurance industry. Examples of previous winners include youth running and biking programs, nonprofits providing support to runners with physical disabilities, and organizations using running to break the cycles of poverty. Currently, we are accepting applications for 2026 awardees. The nomination period closes on 12/31/2025.
Requirements for applicants include:
- Must be a 501(c)3 Non-Profit and be able to provide their EIN.
- Must have an endurance-related central mission.
- This means that the organization’s main purpose directly supports the endurance community, not that it uses a running event to raise money. A race alone is not eligible.
- Must have a nomination application completed. An organization can be nominated by more than one person; however, this dos not increase the chances of award for the organization.
- Must not have been awarded OR must not have received RunSignup’s Community Grant award within the last three years. This means 2026 winners will be ineligible to reapply until 2030.

Past RunSignup Community Grant Awardees
