Welcome to Benny Chen, who has joined the RunSignup team in the Moorestown, NJ office! He is a developer who will be working as a part of our UX team to create a smooth experience for race directors and participants.
Benny is a recent graduate of Rowan University with a bachelors degree in Computer Science. While at Rowan, he explored many topics in the field of computer science: for example, machine learning for computational creativity research with one of his professors, and a carpooling mobile app for Rowan students. He also worked on a “sharing great place” social media website with Philip Quinn (who has also joined RunSignup as a summer intern).
Benny was born in Brooklyn, New York, and spent 6 years of elementary school in Fujian, China. In his free time, he likes to read books on finance and management, and learning to play the piano and edit videos. He’s pictured with his grandfather!
