Summary of Webinar
Overview
The 2025 Kickoff Webinar celebrated RunSignup’s 15th anniversary with a look back at major milestones and a detailed roadmap of what’s ahead. Bob and Allison outlined company growth, platform evolution, and upcoming developments across registration, ticketing, memberships, volunteers, and fundraising. The session also reaffirmed RunSignup’s commitment to continuous improvement, transparency, and remaining 100% employee-owned—allowing the team to reinvest directly into innovation and customer success.
Company Growth & Vision
RunSignup reached new milestones in 2024, with over $3 billion in total transaction volume expected by February 2025. The endurance business remains strong, growing 20% year-over-year, while TicketSignup continues to accelerate rapidly. Donations also surpassed $60 million in 2024.
The company’s employee-owned model enables long-term investment in technology and people—without outside shareholders. This structure allows for faster innovation, more reinvestment into software development, and the ability to prioritize customers and employees equally.
Platform Evolution & V2 Strategy
The RunSignup platform has evolved into a unified, scalable system with over 2 million lines of code and 2,300+ releases in 2024 alone. The V2 initiative—modernizing products like Email, Websites, Memberships, Store, and Volunteers—continues to expand across the ecosystem.
Key focus areas:
Continuous Improvement: Small, consistent enhancements across the platform.
Unified Technology: One shared codebase powering RunSignup, TicketSignup, and GiveSignup.
Cross-Product Features: Innovations built once are shared across all business lines.
