We have extended the ability to ask Custom Questions during registration to ask for specific types of information:
- Date
- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Whole Number
- Positive Whole Number
- Decimal Number
This assures that when a runner is answering a question, they fill in the right type of information.
The Date Function is nice because it is HTML 5 based and will automatically put up a date picker for modern browsers and smartphones.
For Phone numbers, it automatically will reformat US based numbers to xxx-xxx-xxxx. For International numbers, it supports the + and must contain only numbers, parenthesis, spaces, dots or dashes. So runners from other parts of the world signing up for your race will be supported and can sign up for things like txt notifications.
