Our customer team has grown again with the introduction of new Sales Representative Brian Flynn in our Richmond, VA office. Brian has a BS in Human Development and Learning and a Masters of Education, as well as an extensive personal and professional history in running, and is looking forward to working with our network of race directors and timers.
Brian comes to RunSignup fresh off of an active coaching career in running, after 8 years as the Director of Cross Country and Track at Bridgewater College. He has behind the scenes race experience, as well, as the race director for multiple road races in Bridgewater, VA (yes, he used RunSignUp!).
Brian’s competitive history includes running Cross Country and Track at Lynchburg College, where he was a Conference Champion and NCAA Qualifier. Beyond school, he’s a multiple-time qualifier to various US Championship Road Races, from 10K to Half Marathon. At the marathon distance, he placed 3rd at the 2015 Marine Corps Marathon, and just this fall set a marathon PR of 2:22 at the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon. In other words, he’s a *decent* runner. Off the track, there’s still more running: Brian is engaged to another speedy runner, Stephanie Cario who ran for Virginia Tech…and the two of them have a dog named “Rupp” for the professional runner Galen Rupp.
