We have deployed an enhancement to our Exemption capabilities in our Sales Tax system. This allows for Federal, State and Local government entities as well as educational entities like schools, colleges and universities to claim exemption status for sales tax purposes.
Remember, not all states have the same rules for each nonprofit entity type. nor do all states exempt the sale of registrations, memberships, store items or tickets from sales tax as sellers of items. Refer to this blog for more information on nonprofit entities.
