RaceJoy Now Offers Race Redo for Virtual Events

Many of the newly formed virtual events want to offer their participants the chance to re-do a route to improve their performance time, accumulate miles, or simply for a repeat experience. RaceJoy is now offering the ability to re-do a course for virtual races and will transmit the newest finish time automatically to official race results when the race is using RunSignup’s Virtual Results.

When beginning the repeat route, the participant simply clicks the Redo button presented in the app as shown above. RaceJoy will then clear out any past performance data and override it with the newest performance data.

RaceJoy is an ideal solution for virtual events wanting to offer authentic race attributes like spectator support with GPS tracking and remote cheer sending. Participants feel connected to the official race with audio progress updates at every mile and access to the official interactive course map. Race organizers are able to engage with participants by scheduling audio messages to play along the course like directional cues, pointing out interesting points on the course, and supportive messages. In addition, organizers can monitor participants on the course and send direct audio messages to individuals.
