As a race director or organizer, one of the most important aspects is knowing how much money you’ve made. In this blog we’ll walk you through on how to determine how much money you made from your race by accessing your Financial Summary, Detailed Summary, and more features in your Race Dashboard.
You can access your Financial Summary from your Race Dashboard >> Financial >> Summary. The Financial Summary will default to your current race year, but you can use the Event Dates Search dropdown to select a different race year or click the Advanced Search button to set a specific time period to view.

Financial Summary
The Financial Summary provides an overall snapshot of your race’s financial performance. It includes:
- Total transactions
- Processing fess subtracted from the overall transactions
- The amount currently owed to the race
- A breakdown of revenue sources such as registration fees, add-ons, donations, and more

Detailed Summary
The Detailed Summary allows you to dive deeper into the financial details. It includes:
- A breakdown of funds collected online, paid to the race, and owed to the race.
- Components such as:
- Race fees
- Processing fee
- Registration with coupons
- Holdbacks/refund reserves
- Donations and donation processing fees

Additionally, you can click on each component to view specific transactions and download the detailed summary as an Excel spreadsheet for further analysis.
Show Summary by Race Dates
This is below the detailed summary that breaks down the financial summary by each race year. You can use this feature to compare your different events year over year.

Transaction Breakdown Pie Chart
The Transaction Breakdown Pie Chat visually displays the sources of revenue for the events you have chosen. making it easier to understand where your income is coming from. Common categories that make up total profits include:
- Registrations
- Donations
- Store Purchases
