We are excited to welcome Ryan Sullivan to the RunSignup team! To welcome Ryan to RunSignup and give him the opportunity to tell his story, we spent some time learning more about him both personally and professionally. Read on to get to know Ryan!
Where are you from, and where do you currently reside?
I am from Middletown, NJ and I am currently in Glassboro, NJ
What will be your job title at RunSignup, and what will be your responsibilities (be as specific as possible)?
I’ll be a Software Engineer Co-Op/Intern and I’ll be working on different code assignments, testing developed software, and taking part in team meetings and design sessions.
Please share additional details about your past work experience, your education and/or training, and any notable professional skills.
I’ve had full-stack development experience with a startup before using Spring Boot, React, Typescript, and SQL! I also am currently a student and worked as a security analyst for Rowan University. Outside of that I do a lot of personal work, primarily on my own web apps!
What are you most looking forward to in joining the RunSignup team?
Definitely the work environment, everyone I’ve met thus far has been a pleasure to talk to and I look forward to being able to learn and work alongside them all.
Tell us about your hobbies and interests, and what you like to do for fun outside of work.
Very big on watching/playing sports (football and basketball primarily), playing games, programming, and watching shows/movies.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I’ve played basketball for 15 years! (and still am! Intramurally).
