RunSignup’s new Membership Display Options make it easier than ever to upsell club memberships during registration while delivering a better experience for existing members.

With enhanced membership display options, events can now present compelling join prompts to non-members and showcase exclusive discounts and benefits to current members within the registration flow.
Convert Registrants Into Members With Custom Join Prompts
When a registrant does not belong to an eligible club, you can now prompt them to join with a fully customizable membership display. Instead of a simple checkbox, you create a branded, benefit-driven experience that encourages action. Navigate to Financial >> Pricing >> Club Membership Discounts. At the bottom of the page, select a club to Prompt to Join when registrants sign up for an event or race.


New Customization Options Include:
- Membership Prompt Title: Craft a strong, action-oriented headline that captures attention.
- Custom Message for Joining Club: Explain the value of membership in clear, persuasive language.
- Details about the Membership: Provide deeper information about member perks in a clean, expandable section that keeps the registration page uncluttered.
- Organization Logo Upload: Reinforce brand recognition and trust by displaying the club logo directly within the registration flow.
This upgraded presentation transforms a basic join option into a compelling upsell opportunity. Instead of simply asking registrants to join, you show them why membership matters, enhance membership organization branding, and demonstrate how joining enhances their event experience.
Reward Existing Members with Clear Discount Messaging
Membership Display Options also improve how events recognize and reward current members with an improved user experience. When a member signs up, they see their discount highlighted when choosing an event.

You can set discounts and discount messaging by going to Financial >> Pricing >> Club Membership Discounts. Note that you can use discount messaging even if you don’t offer a discount for members. For example, some events may offer members a non-financial benefit like starting in wave 1. Discount messaging can let members know about these benefits in addition to discounts.
