RunSignup’s RaceDay products offer timers and races a complete set of tools from corral and bib assignments, to scoring, results, notifications, realtime tracking, integrated photos – all for free. RunSignup AI is bringing even more capabilities by giving customers an easy way to customize and create more applications for specific purposes.
The Results Receipt app built with RunSignup AI using v0.dev is now available for use, as well as to fork and make custom versions for any timing business or race organization.

To try it out, go to https://www.resultreceipts.com/. Search for “Gold Nugget Triathlon” and then search for “bill”, then click on one of the search results. Or search for “Vermont City” and search for “bob” or even just “a”.
The Result Receipt app joins a number of other RunSignup AI apps for RaceDay:
- Result Kiosk App
- Multi-Location Time Syncing for Races
- Paper Registration Form Generation (Customer built)
What is so exciting about RunSignup AI is the ease of extending and creating new applications.
Results Receipt App
While most of the world has moved beyond paper, there is still a need at some races to produce a paper receipt of results. This is particularly useful at races like triathlons with complex splits that are nice to have on paper.
Soren Larson built this app as a forked extension of his earlier Results Kiosk app on v0. Here is Soren’s explanation of what he did to develop this applications in a matter of a few hours:
“Because all of the API methods were well tested and the workflow was easy to follow this was mostly a matter of explaining to v0 that I wanted the output to go to the printer for a 3” wide thermal receipt printer rather than a display. I simplified a few things via screenshots and prompts (Remove the header logo, add the ability to show or hide splits, rename some options to make sense with printing receipts instead of displaying results on a screen) and kept the general interface looking the same. I also added the ability to scan QR codes to look up results for that bib number; this piece hasn’t been heavily tested, but it will parse out a Bib number similar to the CheckIn app by looking for the number after a # (for example a QR code pointed at https://runsignup.com/Kiosk/raceID/Results#3001 would bring up bib 3001’s results)
The main pain point was getting the split names to map properly by explaining to v0 that it needed to look at the headers for each event when the race was initially selected – this cleaned up the issue of the Split ID showing up instead of the column header. I was able to deploy this program to an easily remembered site so that it is able to be put on a device without remembering a long URL – www.resultreceipts.com – and have put it out into the world for testing and use.”
Note that this application will only work with native RunSignup Results – meaning those posted with RaceDay Scoring, or have been uploaded from other scoring software or imported with the appropriate setup.
Summary
RunSignup AI is enabling customers to use AI to expand the power of the RunSignup platform.
