The RunSignup AI Chatbot: Now Available in Beta for All Races!
The RunSignup AI Chatbot is another free, integrated tool to solve every race’s evergreen challenge: participants who don’t read.
The chatbot lives on your race Website V2, providing an easy way for participants to ask questions and get reliable answers, instantly. The Beta AI Chatbot is now available for all races on RunSignup to try.
To be eligible for a Beta AI Chatbot, races must:
- Be using Websites V2
- Have an FAQ component on your Website V2 with at least 5 questions answered (more is better!)

What’s Coming for the RunSignup AI Chatbot
The RunSignup AI Chatbot will initially have basic response capabilities for a limited number of races. However, over the coming months, we will build more automation to scale the onboarding process to give chatbots to all customers who meet the requirements. Additional plans include:
- Real time data integration for things like photos, finding a bib number or start corral.
- Participant Management features based on event settings for providing guidance on things like Referral Rewards, Deferrals, Transfer to a friend, Transfer Event, Refunds, etc.
- Continuous iterative improvements based on customer feedback
- Continuous improvements in the underlying AI models
