Yesterday morning, when the Philly 10K – a local race on it’s way to a second straight sellout in their second year – ran into some trouble with a huge registration demand, we were excited to be able to jump in at the last minute to get them back up and running. While we’re a distributed team, our headquarters is just outside Philadelphia, and several of our employees call Philly home. There is just something extra-special about the opportunity to help a hometown race out of a jam.
Also really cool? Watching the flood of social media posts commenting on how smooth registration was. As a tech company, we often don’t hear from users until something doesn’t work, so it’s really rewarding to see so much great runner feedback.
